Sprout

I feel so sad, that you stole my cake 

You make my heart ache 

Horrible dinners and healthy food 

You made a really big mistake

I’m leaving!

I tell my mum don’t kick me out 

She tells me don’t you shout 

I say as long as time is… 

I will never eat a sprout

I’m leaving!

I grab my teddy and suck my thumb 

You didn’t even leave a crumb 

Of my favourite cake, chocolate cake, 

I shout, “You mean, mean mum.”
